Product Code: CHR-HOR-HELMAE

$6.99

Cultivar with smaller full pinkish-yellow. in early to late fall. 2'+ tall and wide clumps.

The whole plants is aromatic, flowers are edible and be used for decorating salad or food. Cut flower last in excellent condition for over 2 weeks.

Full sun - half sun, average soil with average moisture. Garden mums require some drainage, because it can be excessive winter moisture that can be critical for them. Our experience is that they do well even in clay, that drains naturally (is not compacted), but some amending with little bit of sand and compost will ensure the successful growth. Don't plant in waterlogged soils.

If you want even more compact growth, pinch back the stems before 4th of July (but no later).

Hardy in zones 5 to 9. Surprisingly heat and humidity tolerant!

Easy to grow, trouble free, due to the aromatic leaves also completely deer and rabbit resistant.

Sunny border, cut flower garden, herb garden, edible garden. Can be combined with many common perennials and grasses.

Hardy Chrysanthemums are fairly long-lived perennials, but it's good to divide older clump after several years to renew and support the new growth and vitality.

Pot size : square 3.5" x 5" deep pot
