Semi-evergreen perennial with woody base. Culinary herb and pollinator friendly plant.
1.5-2' tall x 1-1.5' wide clumps. Leaves are small, glossy, spicy aromatic, blue flowers in June to July, sometimes sporadically continues in bloom until late summer.
Hardy in zones 3 to 8.
Attracts honey bees and smaller butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Full sun, half shade, drought tolerant, also looks like heat and humidity tolerant too. Average soils, drained soils, rocky, shallow, sandy soils (we probably wouldn't recommend it for wet clay, but otherwise this is tough and adaptable plant).
For rock garden, front of the flower beds, for edges or little hedges, big containers, pot gardens, herb gardens. Good substitute for lavender in areas, where lavender fails or doesn't grow well.
Pot size : deep square 3.5" x 4" perennial pot
