This well-behaved hybrid goldenrod was bred in Europe for cut flower production. Stiff growth, no flopping, sturdy stems and pollinator and bird friendly.
'Strahlenkrone' or 'Crown of Rays' is a fast-growing perennial that blooms from midsummer to early fall, displaying golden-yellow clusters of tiny flowers. It looks best in the center of the flower bed, in small groups, or as a single plant in small beds. Perfect for cut flower gardens, butterfly gardens, pollinator gardens, drought resistant plantings, and naturalistic plantings. This adaptable plant can be combined with a wide range of perennials on the drier or medium-moist (average) spectrum.
