Campanula 'Blue Waterfalls' is a mounding, low growing bluebell with evergreen mat of fresh green leaves and violet-blue flowers of varying intensity.
In the blooming peak, flowers flow outwards from the center and cover the entire plant.
Vigorous, easy and fast growing plant that is great for pollinators.
Does very well in Midwestern heat, humidity and drought.
Blooming Time: early - late summer
Size: 8-10" tall and 18"-2' wide
USDA Zones: 4-7
Culture: full sun, half-sun, half-shade (to light - dappled shade). Average to drained soils, alkaline, neutral, to acid, but always with some gravel, rocks or sand. Grows well in drier shade.
Moisture Needs: medium (average), medium-dry
Origin: native to southeastern Europe, in comparison to the species offers more tidy growth. 'Blue Waterfalls' patent expired (PP13161), and is also available under the name 'Camgood'.
Deer/Rabbit Resistant: should be resistant to both, but it all depends on the pressure
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: yes
Attracts Hummingbirds: yes
