Compact, mounded, STERILE, with clouds of double white flowers.

Tolerant to heat, humidity and droughts. Pollinator friendly (butterflies), long flowering period.

Favorite and long lasting cut flower, often used for weddings, good companion for shorter roses.

Blooming Time: early to late summer (with some fall reblooms)
Size: 12-18" tall x 16-24" wide clumps 
USDA Zones: 3 to 9
Culture: full sun, average soil amended with some sand, and compost. Drained and dry soils.

Plant Combinations: can be combined with many common perennials that are somewhat drought tolerant like Achillea, Calamintha, Echinacea purpurea hybrids, Peonia, Hemerocallis, bearded Iris, Nepeta, Salvia nemorosa hybrids, Stachys byzantina, etc. 
Native companions include Amorpha canescens, Asclepias tuberosa, Asclepias verticillata, Aster oblongifolius, Aster laevis, Aster ericoides, Coreopsis, Cunila origanoides, Echinacea tennesseensis, Echinacea pallida or angustifolia, Echinacea paradoxa, Euphorbia corollata, Penstemon, Pycnanthemum, Rudbeckia (R. missouriensis, R. fulgida) Salvia lyrata, Solidago, Sisyrinchium angustifolium, and grasses like Andropogon, Boutelloua gracilis, Eragrostis elliotii, Koeleria macrantha or cristata, Muhlenbergia capillaris, Panicum, Pennisetum, Sporobolus heterolepis, and Schizachyrium scoparium.
