Hosta 'Silly String' - HOSTA 'SILLY STRING'

'Silly String' is a medium-sized Hosta with narrow, blue leaves with wavy margins and pale purple flowers.

Forms dense, ground covering mounds and is a bit slower to grow. The leaf color changes to green-blue in the summer heat.

Good companions can be Aruncus, Actaea, Amsonia (with wider leaves), Astilboides, Brunnera, Darmera, Chelone, short Eupatorium, other Hosta, Lobelia, Persicaria, Phlox (caroliniana, paniculata, maculata), Physostegia, Primula, Rudbeckia fulgida, Sanguisorba, Veronicastrum, Vernonia and grasses like Carex (Sedges), Hakonechloa and spring bulbs and spring ephemerals.
