Small succulent stonecrop with gray needle-like leaves and yellow flowers. For sunny garden with drained soil.

Blooming Time: June to July
Size: usually under 0.5' tall x 1-1.5' wide
USDA Zones: 3-9 (heat zones 6-9)
Culture: 
sun, grows well in average to dry soils, if they are drained well (amended with gravel, sand, etc). Medium, medium-dry to dry soil. Adaptable to pH, but soils should be drained and leaner. In too rich soil will grow too quickly, flop, rot or all of it. Avoid waterlogged, rich and fertile soils! Drought, heat and humidity. Tolerates salt.
Moisture Needs: medium (average), medium-dry to dry
Origin: Europe (northern, southern and central)
Deer/Rabbit Resistant: yes / yes
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: yes / yes
Attracts Hummingbirds: no
Plant Combinations: Flower beds in sun, edges, rock gardens, retaining or dry walls, troughs, seaside gardens, xeriscape (xeric gardens).

Good with small Echinacea, Achillea, short Agastache, summer blooming Allium, Asclepias tuberosa, Calamintha, Coreopsis, shorter Liatris, Nepeta, shorter Oenothera, less spreading Creeping Phlox hybrids (Phlox subulata hybrids), Penstemons, smaller Platycodon, Salvia nemorosa hybrids, Satureja, other Sedum, small Silene, Sisyrinchium, Stachys 'Densiflorus', Thymus, Veronica, Yucca, and grasses like Bouteloa, Sporobolus 'Tara' or short Schizachyrium.

Or combine with small rock garden plants like : other Sedum, Sempervivum (hens and chickens), or Anacyclus, Arabis, Artemisia schmidtiana, low growing Campanula, Dianthus, Erigeron pulchellus, smaller Euphorbia, Gentiana acaulis and similar, Gypsophila repens, miniature or dwarf bearded (MBD, Iris x barbata), Lewisia, Lithodora, smaller Potentilla.
