May be questionable in the South/humid areas
Over the years I've grown several goldenrod species - and have found them to be relatively forgiving and easy (even in my unexceptional clay soils), but I have killed 'Little Lemon' repeatedly. I garden in Central Arkansas (7b/8) and the summers here are hot and humid. My guess is this little guy may be happier elsewhere.
