Heavily blooming goldenrod, tiny flowers, one of the top performers at Mt. Cuba Solidago trials.
Great in average to wet soil (and wet clay), well behaved, stays in clumps.
Pollinator magnet as any other goldenrod.
Blooming Time: July/August - September
Size: usually 3' tall x 1.5 wide

Culture: sun, grows well in average soils to wet soils, including wet clay
Moisture Needs: medium (average), medium-moist, moist, wet

Black Walnut Tolerant: yes
Deer/Rabbit Resistant: It's not preferred, but might be browsed by the deer if the pressure is higher or high.
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: yes / yes. Not much information is known about this goldenrod, but in general it does attract many insect as the other goldenrods - from honeybees, to wide range of native bees , wasps, beetles, and many more.
Attracts Hummingbirds: no / but small songbirds are attracted to the seeds
Pot Size: square 3.5" x 4" deep perennial pot
Plant Combinations: Flower beds, naturalistic garden, butterfly or pollinator gardens, cut flower gardens, prairie style gardens, for naturalizing, rain gardens and wet areas. Goes well with majority of common native and non-native perennials like : Agastache (blue ones), Amsonia, summer blooming Allium, Asclepias, Aster, Baptisia, Coreopsis tripteris and hybrids, Coreopsis verticillata, Hemerocallis, moisture loving Iris (I. sibirica, pseudata, ensata, versicolor, virginica, x lousiana), Liatris, Monarda, Penstemon digitalis, Rudbeckia, Salvia nemorosa hybrids, tall Sedum, Stachys, Vernonia taller Veronica, and grasses like Panicum.
