Upright, narrow shorter-lived "daisy". Finely divided aromatic basal leaves that repel insects (and deer).

Wiry stems with clusters of white-yellow daisy flowers.

Good cut flower.

Blooming time: early to mid summer
Size: 2.75-3' of height x 1-1.25' of width
USDA zones: 4 to 8/9, probably suitable for cooler area, or areas with cooler summer temps (not for deep south)
Culture: sun, half sun, half shade (in hotter areas), average soil, loam (but doesn't need too much nutrient). Some drainage is beneficial. 
Moisture Needs: medium, medium-dry, dry tolerates droughts
Origin: native from Europe (Eastern Alps, Balkan) to Wester Siberia, including Turkey
Deer/rabbit resistant: yes/yes
Attracts Hummingbirds: no
Attracts pollinators: some bees and some birds
Pot Size: square 3.5" x 4" deep perennial pot
Plant combinations: Best for drier flower bed with well drained soils, naturalistic garden, cut flower garden, cottage garden, herb garden, deer resistant planting.

Combine with plants with similar needs - Asclepias tuberosa, Coreopsis, Clinopodium, Dalea, Echinacea, Euphorbia, Gaura, Geranium sanquineum, Kniphofia, Monarda, Nepeta, Lavandula, Salvia, Satureja, smaller Solidago, Verbena and medium sized-grasses like Eragrostis, shorter to medium-sized cultivars of Panicum, Koeleria, Muhlenbergia, Sesleria, Schizachyrium, Sporobolus or Pennisetum - where not invasive.
