Soft lavender-blue flowers with darker veins, bronze-green leaves.
Spreads wide to form little mat, but is not competitive enough to be a true groundcover.

Plant Combinations: Best for the front or edge of flower bed, rock garden, crevice gardens, atop rataining rock wall (or among the rocks), in bigger trough or bigger container. Trouble free plant, may need to be cut back after flowering (for better and fresh leaves). Can be combined with many common perennials. But looks very well with blue, or blue-purple flowers of shorter cultivars of : Achillea, summer blooming Alliums, Artemisia, Asclepias tuberosa, short Amsonia, short Agastache, Calamintha nepeta 'Blue Cloud', Coreopsis, Dracocephallum, Euphorbia myrsinites, short Gaura, Geranium, Lavandula, Kalimeris 'Blue Star' , Iris x barbata 'Nana' and 'Media', small cultivars of Origanum, smaller Paeonia, Penstemon, Salvia nemorosa hybrids, Ruellia humilis, Scabiosa columbaria, Scutellaria ovata, Sisyrinchium, Stokesia, Tradescantia, Stachys 'Hummelo' or Yucca. It looks good with anything that has a slightly rougher structure (bigger leaves, flowers, grassy leaves, etc) and with many shorter or medium-sized grasses.
