Showy and exotic looking perennial from Southern Africa. 4" wide clusters of blue flowers, a bit less vigorous than 'Galaxy White', moderately-fast growing cultivar.

Hardy in zones 6 to 10 - survived 7 winters in Zeeland Michagan (Walters Gardens). Still, some winter protection is recommended (leaves, straw, mulch).

36-40" tall x 28-30" wide clumps of fresh green leaves, long bare stems with clusters of blue flowers from mid summer to early fall.

Full sun, average soil amended with some organic matter, loamy soils. Average moisture (medium) to slightly moist (medium-moist).

Slightly acidic to neutral pH.

Plants are considered deer and rabbit resistant, but in areas wit overpopulated deer was reported browsing.

Hardy in zones 6 to 10.

Best in sunny border, can be combined with many common perennials and grasses. Can be used in rain garden. Great cut flower.
