Probably the most robust summer blooming Allium on the market!
Strong and vigorous clumps. Pale pink 3-3½" sphere, highly attractive to various insects, turn to ornamental seedheads.
Grayish foliage, the whole plants has strong onion/garlic and deters deer and rabbits, and just like many "onions" is edible.
Blooming time: mid summer-late summer
Size: 30-32" tall by 20-24" wide
USDA zones: 4 to 8
Culture: full sun, partial sun, half shade, average soils with average amount of nutrients (not lean), tolerant to many soil types (sandier, loam, clay). It tolerates heat, humidity and droughts.
