Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Eldorado' - FEATHER REED GRASS 'ELDORADO'
'Eldorado' is similar to very popular 'Karl Foerster', just a bit shorter and with golden stripe in the centers of the leaves. The golden stripe sometimes starts cream white, in the summer heat often fades to greenish.
Pale purple flowers from May (cool season grass), fade to "wheat" color.
Vigoros just like 'Karl Foerster, vertical structure and very long ornamental value from May to till you cut them down.
Adaptable, drought tolerant and tough.

Attracts Hummingbirds: no, but attracts small birds
