Compact and short form of Joe Pye Weed. 'Euphoria Ruby' offers extended blooming period, because it starts to bloom earlier than the tall species.

More suitable for smaller beds and gardens. Still highly attractive to wide range of pollinators.

Black walnut tolerant. Great cut flower - purple-red inflorescences, not fragrant.

Deer/Rabbit Resistant: yes / yes
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: yes / yes - butterflies, including monarch butterflies, also long-tongued bees, skippers and moths (also host plant for caterpillars of moths, and some beetles).
Attracts Hummingbirds: no, but seeds attract small birds
Plant Combinations: For sunny to half shaded flower beds - especially for smaller gardens or front yards, pollinator or butterfly gardens, cottage gardens, woodland edge gardens, smaller rain gardens or cut flower gardens.

For both private gardens and public landscaping.
