Coreopsis tripteris 'Gold Standard' - TALL COREPSIS 'GOLD STANDARD'

Product Code: COR-TRI-GOLSTA
Shipping: Calculated at Checkout
$8.99

This excellent perennial was selected by Mt. Cuba center:

"Coreopsis tripteris ‘Gold Standard’ combines all of the great attributes of the straight species, like excellent hardiness and disease resistance, with a smaller and sturdier habit. Although still a large plant at just under 6’ tall, 'Gold Standard' has strong stems that never flop. Because 'Gold Standard' is sturdier, its flowers are better presented than the typical species. Bountiful masses of yellow flowers with dark cones begin in late summer when many other perennials are winding down. 'Gold Standard' is a rhizomatous perennial that spreads about 2’ over three years. This cultivar is a selection made by Mt. Cuba Center from seed collected in Alabama. As of December 2015, Mt. Cuba Center is working with the nursery industry to make this cultivar available to the public."

Deer and rabbit resistant plant (the young shoots may be browsed occasionally, but it's rare). This very good pollinator plant blooms for 9 weeks!

Perfect perennial and nativar for conventional flower beds and public spaces, but also naturalistic plantings, low maintenance plantings, prairie-style plantings, or pollinator and butterfly gardens.

Thrilled to find this in stock! Plants arrived quickly and look healthy. Won’t really know what they look like until Spring 2022 as this is my first order of this species. Superior packaging! US Perennials continues to earn a top spot on my short list of online plant sources!!

  • COREOPSIS TRIPTERIS 'GOLD STANDARD - TALL COREPSIS 5

I received my plants and I'm very happy with how fresh and robust they are. Not some tiny little stick but well established 12" tall plants. The pollinators will love them as much as I will!
