Helianthus maximiliani 'Santa Fe' is a vegetatively-propagated cultivar of the native perennial Maximilian sunflower. It's a stately, clumping perennial with very showy spikes of 3," large, golden flowers in late summer and early fall.
Tolerates some drought and is a very good cut flower. This plant attracts butterflies, bees, and small birds. Excellent for the background of bigger perennial borders, naturalistic plantings, bird gardens, pollinator gardens or hedges.
