Valuable late and long blooming perennial - meets in bloom with Asters, Solidagos or Anemone japonica.

Small white flowers in clusters. Spreads into wide clump, in good conditions can self-seed.

Pollinator magnet. Adaptable and tolerant to heat and humidity.

Potent plant used in Tradicoional Chinese medice (TCM), young shoot are edible, and used for tea (Korea).

Anti-inflammatory, detoxifying and abscess-reducing properties.

Blooming time: late summer to early fall -  August/September

Culture: full sun, half, half shade to light shape (or dappled shade/open shade). Average soil with some organic matter, organic rich soils, loamy soils, somewhat drained. Likes slightly moist soils, but avoid waterlogged soil.
