Penstemon
REVIEW: Hasn’t grown since I’ve received it’s has brown spots on it. I think it’s diseased. REPLY: Hello Joseph, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Because Penstemon blooms in the spring and you received it two weeks ago, it is largely "done" for the season and will not flower or appear to grow much this year. If it has been planted, it's most likely putting its energy into rooting, as opposed to growing new foliage. Having some spots on the leaves is normal; when we water in the nursery, some water always gets on the leaves, which results in the spotted appearance. As these plants are grown outside with full exposure to the elements and various insects, their appearance can vary slightly and may not always be cosmetically perfect. As with all our plants, please let us know if your Penstemon 'Albus' fails over the course of the season or winter, and we will be happy to replace it for you! Thanks again, USP
