Hybrid sedum with dramatic red-brown succulent foliage with violet haze, and pinkish flowers in late summer.
Smaller perennial with mounding/trailing habit of growth, grows only to 3-6" of height and 8-12" of width.
Hardy in zones 5 to 9.
Best in sun or partial shade, in well drained or dry to medium-dry soils.
Goes well with Achillea tomentosa, Asclepias tuberosa, Callirhoe, Coreopsis, Echinacea, Gaillardia, Lavandula, Liatris, Nepeta, Monarda bradburiana, Penstemon, Phlox subulata, Salvia nemorosa hybrids orgrasses like Bouteloa, Muhlenbergia, Koeleria, Sporobolus heterolepis or shorter cultivars of Schizachyrium scoparium. Can be planted in drier beds, rock gardens, xeriscapes, or troughs with ens ad chickens.
