Culture : half shade and light or dappled shade. Average soil with average moisture (medium) - amended with some compost, leaf compost and mulch with organic debris (leaves, shredded leaves or little bit of bark mulch). Adaptable (slightly acidic, neutral or slightly alkaline, average). Avoid waterlogged and wet clay soil.

Looks good if combined with grassy-leaves or bigger leaves. From grasses choose Carex (sedges), Deschampsia, Hakonechloa.
