Blooming time : early/mid summer fall (in northern Illinois blooms for 5-6 weeks from mid early September to mid October)

Culture: full sun (ideal is 6+ hours of direct sun or more). Adaptable and easy - any soil with some organic matter. Tolerant to heat and humidity, established plants tolerate droughts and drier conditions
Moisture Needs: sligthly moist to average (medium), medium-dry, dry
Origin: Introduced by Chicagoland Grows in 2012 from seedlings - crosspollination made in 2010 of Vernonia lettermannii and Vernonia
angustifolia ‘Plum Peachy’. Similar appearance to 'Summer Surrender', but with smaller clumps. Plant is patented PP28556, unlicensed propagation is prohibited.
