Caryopteris divaricata 'Snow Fairy' - BLUEBEARD 'SNOW FAIRY'
Delicate looking perennial / deciduous sub-sbrub with unique purple-blue flowers from late summer to early fall.
It dies back completely in the winter. Irregular white variegation, sometimes top leaves are completely white.
Reminds of small shrub with airy delicate structure, the whole look from the distance is silvery-gray.
Pollinator friendly and comptletely deer and rabbit resistant. Trouble free, not very common plant.
Blooming Time: August to September
Size: 3' tall and 3' wide (but some gardeners report older shrubs being wide up to 5'). In time forms wider shrubs.
USDA Zones: 6 to 9 (heat zone 1-9)
Culture: full sun is the best (tolerates half shade), always well-drained soils (will not tolerate wet clay and poorly drained soils). Loose loam is the best, drained soil of any pH. Moderately drought resistant.
