Wild Basil Balm is unique in the genus Monarda - this one is a native woodland plant and prefers to grow in shade! It will also tolerate drier shade under trees. The white flowers (typical for bee balm) bloom from mid- to late summer, and attract more bumblebees than butterflies or other bees. This plant also attracts hummingbirds!
