This Salvia is remenicent of robust Meadow Sage.
Long spikes of mauve/purple flowers, dark maroon and heavily ribbed calyxes.
Blooming time: late spring/early summer
Size: 24-30” tall and wide
USDA Zones: 4/5 to 8
Culture: full sun to half shade. Adaptable plant and easy - any soil (acidic, alkaline, average). Avoid wet and waterlogged soils.
Moisture Needs: average - medium, medium-dry, medium-moist
